Jan Czarnocki

Jan Czarnocki is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow and a PhD student at the KU Leuven Centre for IT & IP Law, as well as Of Counsel at Jabłoński & Kozmiński. He is an expert in new technology law, data protection and AI regulation. 

Jan was also a research associate at Stanford Law School, Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg and Jagiellonian University. He has also gained experience as an advisor to technology start-ups and in the European Parliament.  

His research involves the intersection of law, philosophy, technology and politics. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Warsaw and an LL.M. in comparative law from China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing.
