Gennaro Terracciano is a full professor of administrative law and pro-rector of the University of Rome “Foro Italico”. He is a world-class expert in administrative law and sports ethics.
He graduated with honors from the University of Naples, where he completed his law degree. In 1985, he received a diploma from the Specialization School of Administrative Law and Administrative Science at the University of Naples, earning a specialization in administrative procedural law. In recognition of his significant achievements, in 2005 he was awarded the title of Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
Prof. Terracciano takes on many significant activities in public and academic life, while simultaneously holding key positions in Italian public institutions and companies, and advising on numerous advisory bodies: as President of the Internal Supervisory Board of NADO Italia (anti-doping), Director of the Center for Studies in Law and Sports Ethics at the University of Rome Foro Italico , President of ODV d.lgs.231 /2001, Member of the Board of Auditors of the Corte dei Conti; Legal Advisor to the Minister of the Interior, Member of the Technical and Scientific Committee for the identification of LEP – CLEP, Member of the Observatory on Local Authorities Finance and Accounting, Member of the Scientific Committee of the 2024 National Statistics Conference.
His contribution to the field of administrative law and sports ethics continues to shape legal practice and policy at the national and international levels.
